What began as a small hobby quickly blossomed into a passionate pursuit of cultivating exceptional dahlias. Little Violet Dahlias was born out of that love, and we're thrilled to share it with you.

Our Journey

Every spring, as each tuber is buried and shoots begin to emerge from the soil, it feels like witnessing a small miracle unfold. There's a profound promise in each shoot, a glimpse of something beautiful yet to come. Our children eagerly pull their shoes on as they rub the sleep from their eyes, asking for a tour of the gardens each morning. When that magical first bloom unfolds it feels like Christmas morning, and we are thrilled to greet the flower stand with fresh bouquets, sharing that joy with our community.

Our Commitment to Quality

All of our tubers are grown right here at Little Violet from stock sourced from small Canadian growers. We take great care in keeping our plants healthy — we sanitize tools between each plant during cutting and division, and carefully cull any plants showing signs of disease to maintain the health and vigor of our collection.
